Author Shaquina

I’m Shaquina (pronounced like Sha-QUAN-na), an independent urban romance author and lifelong lover of books. I’ve been reading and writing since I was eleven, and what started as a passion eventually became the writing career I’m building today.

Originally from Erie, Pennsylvania, I’ve called a few different places home over the years, and those experiences inspire the worlds and characters I create today. I love writing love stories centered around romance, mental health, and the beautiful journey of finding yourself.

When I’m not writing, I’m probably reading, watching a good TV series or movie, traveling, trying new restaurants, or getting lost in another fictional world. I’m a big believer in stories that make you feel something and I hope my books do exactly that!💕
